TTC October 2020 Babies

Hi all! I'm back in the TTC game as of today. I just got my first post postpartum period so now I feel like I can try and track ovulation. I ordered some OPKs and will start using them in a week or so. I can't track BBT this time around because of my DD.

I used this site heavily while trying to conceive our daughter and made a bunch of friends that I still talk to. I'm looking forward to meeting some new ladies and sharing in this TTC journey again.

Here's a little bit about me. I started TTC in 2017 and it took us 9 months of tracking to get our first BFP. Our daughter was born on Valentine's day 2019 and is almost one! We want our kids about 2 years apart but know that it's not really our choice. We are hoping it will take 9 months (cycles) or less to conceive baby number 2. I expect to have irregular cycles starting out because we are still breast feeding. I had very regular periods before getting pregnant.

So! Who is trying for October babies and how's it going?

Hello everyone,

@Brittany I am using easy@home and clear blue pink Digi they are a bit pricey. I am not sure if I will ov this cycle. They look like they are darkening a bit but cycles are now 25-30.

@Flamingo I heard good things any pregmate. I might try them next cycle if necessary.

AFM fertility doc on Monday. Hoping to be considered for iui.

Everyone else how are you? I'm kn. Cd12

Hi Roseevee - that’s smart not to get pregnancy tests to early. I just bought myself 4 more from the dollar store and I’m only 7 DPO :-S crazy tester lady over here (pointing at myself). Anyone else having crazy vivid dreams? I keep dreaming that I either get my period or am in labour or that I have my miscarried babies. Also nervous about stuff like having hot baths or a drink or two which I assume is a no-no. Wish I knew for sure if hubby “got me” this cycle.

Hi Kaybee I can see that too fingers crossed.

@Mommy 28 days cycle is 14 days luteal , so 23 days should be 9 days luteal. I don t think there is a way to make them longer. Mine suddenly got shorter too but I do prefer them shorter now. It just means that you ovulate really really early. I would suggest that you start opk as soon as AF leaves you.

@Flamingo and @Kbeans fingers crossed.

How is everyone else doing?

AfM I am 85% sure that AF will be here in the next 2-4 days so no need to test.

Jumping on the post here as also in my TWW. I am 6dpo on my first cycle of using clear blue advanced fertility monitor. We have been trying for 2 years now, put LB was born Sep 2017 and we struggled for him so never went back on contraception after him. I have 1 more cycle after this one to conceive before taking a break for wedding planning and making sure I can get my body how I want it for the wedding. Really hoping this is our month!!

Baby dust all x

@Kaybee3 - There is still a chance! I'd think tomorrow test (48hrs) would be the one that will darken if you are pregnant. It's ok to keep the hope alive and to test early.

Good results this morning ladies, looks like I’m about to ovulate as my test today is the strongest I’ve had so far and it’s shifted on my chart to be more like what I expected x
