Well ann i tested bfn yesterday, today is when af should show. I am 13 dpo today, but imma wait a couple days to see if she shows her ugly little face...my average cycle length is 26 days, today is 27 days but i have also gone to 30 days once, in the six months i have been tracking it. Butler i am not doing iui, i am trying the old fashioned way like bkc. I just track my cycles, make sure i have having ovulation symptoms when my predictor says i am ov, and make sure to try and baby dance at those times.

Ah I know mrsbutler. I also tracked like anything and was so optimisitc. On the flip side found out my medical aid would only have covered from this november! Which means if had bfp i would have no cover. Sometimes bad can be good. But like you will make better effort so to speak. Lets totally remain cycle buddies. We will get there!!!!! Maybe even get a bfp the same time (haha) love and light.

Bkc, good luck and I really hope this turns out to be a surprise rather than the all-too-familiar let-down.

Has anybody read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I just stumbled across it so I'm going to try it out. I realize I haven't been consistent and on top of things the way I should be. I tend to take the passive approach, which is symptom spotting and stressing during the TWW instead of doing everything in my power while waiting to O... am I the only one who does this? Lol

@KY. I've been following this for awhile but sat in silence. I had itchy nipples before my BFP so hoping it's a good sign for you. Do you temp or check cervix at all?

Ohhh I didn’t see it was suppose to be a plus.. I thought we were looking for 2 lines 1 in each box I’ve never used that one before.
I can barley see anything then that way :(
I’m sure in person iys easier to see .. I always end up finding a line somehow too
but it still could be soon &AF hasn’t shown yet!

And bkc, you said something about the odds being stacked against us. In a philosophical way, did you always feel like you were going to have a hard time conceiving? I know I did. Even before I was talking/really thinking about shaving kids. It always concerned me that my cramps were so bad and I had so many PMS symptoms.
So, immediately, when we started talking about kids, and before we started actually trying to have kids, I started trying to get into the habit of BBTing, the cervix signs, etc. I’m still not great at that though. For example, last month, I missed a day of temping between when I think I O’d and 1dpo. Ugh. Makes me so mad at myself.
As if, maybe if I could do it correctly and consistently, I would know more about my fertility; while at the same time, I’ve already dismissed myself as difficult to conceive. Does any of this resonate with anybody?
My commitment is pathetic and I can’t say certain methods work or don’t work because I haven’t truly dedicated myself. Or, at the same time, maybe I’m just trying to make myself feel better for not having conceived already.

I am a day late, 14 dpo, no symptoms of af arriving yet, checked my cervix again it is still all the way up there. My breasts are still sore, i am tired, but also get bursts of energy, cm is creamy, but there isn't a lot of it. So i am almost curious if i am going to start in a couple of days. As far as testing, if af doesn't show by cycle day 30 or 31 i will, since i did have that one cycle that was long a few months ago

@KY. Did you notice if the cervix was open or closed. High is good and so is creamy cm. I like using the FRERs as it's easier to locate the lines. Here's to hoping your period stays away and you get a strong line in a couple days.

I was reading with most urine tests it’s better to wait for more accurate results (especially if you maybe ovulated later or implanted later).
Any thoughts?
