Advice on what to do after stopping DEPO shot

It's been almost a year that I've been off depo and my periods are still irregular. I know that this makes it difficult to conceive. My question is, Should I wait for my periods to come back to normal on their own, or is there anything I can do to regulate it? I have heard about vitex and taking birth control, but I'm not sure about them. Any advice out there from you ladies that have gone through the same thing?

I was on Depo for about 8 or 9 years. Went off it 3 years ago. It took nearly a year for my periods to return. At first they were irregular, but within about 4 to 5 months they regulated on their own. I never took anything to get them back to normal. Could be that you just need to wait a little longer, though I know that's hard to do. Good luck!
