late ovulation

Anyone ever ovulated on CD 23 or even up to CD 30 of an irregular cycle? My cycles have been around 45-50 days for the last three months and I unexpectedly found out I was pregnant. Please help

My cycle is 34 days (average) but I have had 54 days before and 27 days... this was within like 6 months... It's all to do with you and your hormones, feelings, ect. If you've been a bit stressed, ate differently or exercised more than your body might have been trying to ovulate and failing a few times before releasing the mature egg.

With my first baby I ovulated on CD 28 (I'm normally CD 21) and this cycle I think I ovulated on CD 12! Which is insanely early for me...

It's not that important that you get the date spot on, your midwife will likely go from the day of your missed period regardless of your cycle until your first ultrasound, then they measure the baby and can date it. It might change from one ultrasound to the next slightly.

I had my baby a week early anyway... So the late ovulation cancled itself out... :P
