best ovulation tests

Hello fellow TTCers. I was wondering what ovulation tests work the best for those of you who've conceived? We are trying for #2. With our first, we used ClinicalGuard from Amazon, and I never got a positive ovulation test. It took us 5 cycles of trying. I used them for 2 cycles this time, still no positives. The 3 cycle, I used First Response, and always got "No," no surge. This cycle I used Meijer brand (grocery store) and FINALLY got positives. We BD'ed many times, but as I started, we must have still missed our window. This will start our 6th month of no prevention, 5th month of seriously trying. I have a regular 28 cycle. Thank you.
