Another update. I got my blood test result for the progesterone and the nurse said it was "lovely"!!! High enough to sustain a pregnancy if that haopens this cycle which is great news!!
My little sister announced her pregnancy to the rest of the family yesterday. She lives out of town so did it by phone. She was very sensitive about it and rang me first to let me know just in case people make comments to me which weren't tactful. I hadn't told grandparents or aunties about my miscarriage and this seemed like a good way to break it to the, so my sister did a lovely thing and told them about my situation with a warning to be sensitive. It was great as I hate telling people. I still cry even though it was months ago. I don't know when that pain will dull.
Welcome conleykr2. Good luck to you :)
Congrats Sparkle 0402 - hope we can all join you soon!!!

I have alot of cramping today i had to get out f bed it was getting a little annoying! Still hurst now but not as bad, im only 5dpo so i think its a little early for symptoms but i can still dream LOL

Ladies ladies ladies...Clomid party!!! :) :) :) I just finished provera four days ago and still waiting for AF to show up. It's nowhere to be found lol...and I have a big wedding to attend next weekend, and knowing my luck I'll bleed on the morning of it lol. I always took it in a pill form, and this time tried the intravaginal and don't know what to expect...and when to expect AF.
As for Clomid, ahh...I'm doing something a little bit illegal this cycle. My pharmacy doubled my prescription of 50mg by a mistake last time (I only took the prescribed dosage thought). After two ultrasounds my infertility doctors figured that Clomid and I don't go together, as there were no visible changes in my ovaries or uterus, and send me to a different clinic for some major infertility treatment saying that they really don't know how to help me. I managed to beg them for yet another chance with Clomid (since I only took it for one cycle) and they gave me 100mg this time (and for the last time)...however, I have that extra 50mg sitting in my medicine cabinet and guess what - I'm taking it!! :D I know, hubby's upset that I should not play with drugs like that, but the doctors won't give more to me stating they're afraid of overstimulating me! BS...and that's it. Taking the business into my own hands. Haven't even scheduled an appointment at the other clinic, because, call me delusional, but I AM GETTING PREGNANT this cycle and that's it.
Lots of baby dust to everybody!! And congrats to the ladies who were blessed this month to see their little seedlings of love for the first time! :)

@ ania.....be careful with taking that much clomid hun. Cause its possible you could be ovulating on the 50mg and the reason docs don't up your dose if you're ovulating on 50mg then raising the does can actually make you less fertile. Do just a bit of research hun cause it would be awful if it made your problem worse. Hood luck dear.
I finally have an appointment with a different infertility doctor thursday I'm actually really excited for this. I hope for some good news for her. Good luck everyone :)

Hi Shelob, sorry for the late response, been AWOL lately.
Nope, still no sign of AF and it's now August 12th.
I ended up POAS on the 6th and it was . Would have loved for it to be a positive as I could have given my partner some good news for his birthday.
Will POAS again on the 22nd if AF hasn't arrived. If I still get after that i'll be going to the doctors, for a general check-up, blood work etc
Oh and my other half is finally home for a week or two at the end of the month, after 8 weeks and counting apart (with the exception of a weekend when I went out to his work camp in the middle of nowhere lol)

Here's my update: I'm off Clomid for this cycle. I've developed a very large cyst on my right ovary (likely from the clomid -- I was on two cycles of 50mg and two cycles of 100mg), so we're doing a natural cycle, but still following through with monitoring and IUI.
Does anyone else have incredibly short periods? I'm talking like 1-2 days. My doctors don't seem concerned (they're worried more about TOO much blood), but this seems odd to me. Anyone have similar experience?
Also, has anyone been given an actual diagnosis of a luteal phase defect?

I have really short periods too. Usually only about 24 hours of actual heavy bleeding. I told my Dr. and he wasn't concerned but I don't think its normal. I wonder if I have a thin lining. I started taking low dose aspirin when I started Clomid because I heard that can increase uterine blood flow. I also read recently that wheat germ oil can help with a thin lining so I may give that a shot also.
