New Year's Kick Off!

In order to keep myself sane during my TWW (12/21-01/04) I'm starting this list for ladies who will be testing or starting a new cycle in the new year!

Let me start off by confessing that I am a POAS addict and my name is Lyn. I live in Italy and my husband is in the military so our TTC months can be quite varied... So far over the last yer we've only really had 4 good chances since he was gone. I'm really hoping that this is my cycle but if not we'll keep trying right up until DH gets on the plane to deploy!

We're TTC #2 after a MC in October of 2010 and I'm now 25 years old... I have PCOS and weight issues.

Let's spread the !

Hoping for my Janury 4th!! (But I know I'll be testing on the 1st)

Here's to keeping AF away!!

hey ladies.. i had a lot to catch up on! i was at work today and wanting to be at home the entire time! lol... gahh the day felt like it would never end!

Anyways Jess- I started using the progesterone cream at 3dpo.. still taking it and will have to take it until at least after 18 weeks i think it was. If I stop I will force on an af .. ultimately resulting in misscarriage.. so you gotta test day af is due and even beyond just for safe measure before you stop applying it to bring on af.

I thought the progesterone cream was giving me side affects but it ended up being pregnancy symptoms.

ALSO...
stephray- don't say that yet! reason why i say this is i TOTALLY 99% thought i was out this month. I tried soy isoflavones with progesterone cream for the first time and the SI's made my cm REALLY dry... it also made me have O symptoms early on cd 8 but did not o that day. I was more confused than ever by this cycle and dh and i only bd'd truly like once a week.. about 4 times in this cycle EVEN with the lack of cm.. and 4 times of bding.. it was enough!! and i totally thought i was out for sure. Didn't even have many symptoms until the last two days 10-12dpo but they were subtle enough to shrug them off honestly. Plus all my other cycles we would bd every other day.. i was tracking symptoms and blah blah blahh.. when i thought for sure i was out.. BAM.. it happened. Still in shock.

Yes they are. I used to think otherwise but I have an app on my phone and for a yr now I have been using it to track my cycles and I found out I am actually fairly regular give or take a day here or there. I have an average 32 day cycle. My longest one this, well 2011 was a 34 day cycle and the shortest was 29. the last two cycles I had were exactly 32 days. So with all the stress I have had all yr and to be stress free now and for this to happen now? I just dont get it. The only thing this month that is diff is I "tried" to get pregnant. Timed it and everything and from day one I just thought, this is it!!! I'm pregnant!! Idk if that screwed me up, but that would be very strange.

Oh and as of today, the 6th, I am on cd 41 so this is a very unusual long cycle.

Knicole27
Esperanza

I promised myself I wouldn't do this (and please know this has nothing to do with you guys, I'm excited for you all, truly), but in the last two days I have found out that four of my friends are pregnant. That is now 8 close friends that are up the duff. I'm happy for them, but so sad that it hasn't happened for me yet. I'm too impatient for this game :(

Blondy, I added you and I'm so glad I have someone to share a cycle with xx Fingers crossed for a September baby for you xx

Just thought I'd check in to see how you all were doing and WOW look at that BFP list!!! Congrats ladies!!! to all of you!

AFM... my mc bleeding finally stopped (making me on CD8 from 1st day of mc). Woo hoo! It was nothing worse than AF, but my doctor wants me to wait one cycle before I try again to allow my lining to "thicken up" again. But then, she ended her statement with "but I understand you are up against the clock so wait at least a week before intercourse again" LOL ... I'm adamant to not do any tracking, checking, poking, and/or prodding of myself while TTC this year. So I guess I'll just plan to get it on at will

Good Morning everyone and TGIF!

Thank you so much girls for being here for me, for all your support, for creating this lucky list...very sincerely wishing everyone tons of

as knicole27 mentioned it - I do understand some kind of bitterness towards pregnanacy announcements..I've been there myself (sooo many times; sis-in-law was hardest) - you try to be and you think you're happy for your newly pregnanat real and virtual friends but deep inside ther is so much pain 'why not me? ' I still remember that Thanksgiving dinner - I had couple unsuccessful ttc months and chemical, and she/SIL/ is announcing the pregnancy right away - and everybody talks ONLY about it; ..ahh- I pretended I got an emergency call and ran away; I was so much in distress; dh was scaried to see me like this and said he doesn't want ttc anymore if it makes me so broken

...but that's what we do, tough girls, that's what we do - we got broken in pieces and torn alive, but then we put ourselves together (piece by piece) and we move on...

anyway, what helped me this month I think - I know it sounds silly and even dumb - is "stop being optimistic", seriously - I didn't have any hopes for this months, but I did have a plan. After that Thanksgiving dinner, I decided - one cycle easy (NTNP), next one to try everything what's available, next one easy, then again with different but still available remedies, and I scheduled an apptmnt with RE specialist in March.

It was my First month of Soy flavones ( I found out that knicole 27 and I did it exactly the same days 4-8, the same dose 160 mlgs).
I was very calm about not getting pregnant this cycle, my next month was supposed to be easy (ntnp) month, and I was planning to dedicate it to exercising and toning my body as much as it's possible..

another thing which I think helped me a lot - I was not tracking preg symptoms, actually I was disregarding any slightest idea of them .. like I was really very gassy (sorry for tmi) but i was telling myself that I am just getting old and turning into old fart :)

again wishing everyone

I was right ya'll!! The sneaky is here with a vengeance!!!

Back to cd1 for me, surprisingly I'm not as upset as I thought I would be!! The only upsetting thing is today was only 10dpo, I will track and try this cycle with everything I've got and if my LP is short again I will be making an appt with my ob, he is one of the best fertility dr's here too!!!

everyone still waiting to test!!! I have my for you!! I will still be hanging out tho!!!

ok so tell me how do you use Soy isoflavones and progesterone cream??? I wanna try it this cycle... Do you just get them at the health food store???

I've read here on this site about soy (actually from knicole27), so I bought my soy isoflavones at wallmart (6 bucks) and I took my first dose (2tabs x 80 mlgs) at night before bedtime on CD4, and I was doing the same on CD 5, 6 etc.
knicole and I had the opposite effect - she noticed drying up and I had an abundant ew cm on all the days I was taking soy.

I don't know too much about progesterone... I used wild yams cream from GNC but apparently I was told that it is not a good option, there is no real progesterone in wild yams cream (but at least it didn't hurt me so far)

AshleyNicole, for your next cycle
