The Wannabe Mamas!

I am starting this thread for a group of ladies that already frequently communicate through journals and PMs. Since we already stalk one another's journals and countdown pages... I thought it might be nice for us to have a discussion forum, where we can frequently communicate our day to day ups and downs. Please re-introduce yourself and give us a summary of your journey to date!

My story:
DH and I have been TTC #1 since June 2012. In October, we found out that DH has a varicocele causing poor morphology (1-2%). This makes it difficult for us to conceive on our own. We are on some looong wait lists to see specialists. We need to see a urologist about possible surgery and a fertility specialist about possible IUI or IVF. Right now we are loking at 8-10 month wait times, but we might be able to get DH into a urologist much sooner if we can get into a clinic in the next province over. We are currently working toward making that happen! The surgery has about 50/50 odds of working. But we are hoping it works for us!

I believ the provera will make you stop bleeding then after however long the dr suggest you stop taking it and then you get your regular AF kind of like a "reboot" button

LAAAAAAAAADIES!!!!!!

I got a positive OPK today!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out my pic....posted my negative one from yesterday and the one from today!

Had temp dip this morning....been having ovarian pain the last few days from right side! Feeling frisky!!

Having doubt my tiny hcg levels have anything to do with this positive OPK...as I've been getting very negative OPKs the last week. Plus my levels are today most likely below 10 (as they tend to go down 1 point a day....Wednesday was at 13).

omg...I just didn't think I would even ovulate until February....and that by that time I'd be on birth control....so I wouldn't have to worry.

Hubby and I BD'ed last night....so it's a little hard to prevent at this point. It is what it is.

I will probably prevent the next few months, however....but if something happens this time around....I'm okay with it!

Woohoo!!

I am a little discouraged.

I have taken 2 more OPKs today....both negative. My positive was taken at 11am.....negative at 1:30pm and now negative again at 8pm. Was my 11am positive false? I got up to let our dogs out and pee at 5am....so I held my urine for quite a few hours when I took the OPK at 11am.

I am just so confused and discouraged. When I used to surge...I would get at least a few positive OPKs....

Hmmm. Can you get a false positive? I was on a nice high...but crash landed quickly!

maybe you geared up to o and then maybe something delayed it.... maybe check again the next couple days to see how things seem to be going... Do you do BBT?

Yes...I chart my BBT...had a temp dip this morning....positive at 11am....seems to go together nicely....but I will see what happens over the next few days.

Loads of BABY DUST dumped all over you :)

Thanks According! However, I don't think O will happen. I'm not getting sore nipples at all....which always always always happens about 12 hours prior to O. My temp did rise this morning, but only to it's normal baseline temp (97.2). My chart is on my homepage if you want to take a peek at it.

Maybe it was a faulty test. I keep looking at it, it's dry now...and still positive after it dried. All my others before and after are clearly negative. I did more this morning just to see if any urine before noon might cause a false positive...and my FMU and SMU were both negative.

Maybe it was trying to gear up and didn't follow through. I mean...I won't count myself out...and will watch my temps....but I don't have a great feeling about it.
