Michelle... My heart also goes out to you! I know the feeling of not caring and it's a tough one. I'm getting signs of the beginnings of fertile cm and I announced to my hubbs in Barnes and Noble tonight that we were going to bd tonight but that I really didn't care. You just get to the point where you feel so over it! I can't say I have been in your situation that you are in with your dh's kids, but you sound like an amazing momma! I could imagine they love you to pieces and that you would do anything for them. But I think I could understand the desire to carry your own child and to see yourself in them. You will get that chance, I just know it. The path just sucks to get there. A friend of mine gave me some advice that I try to remember on bad days. A doctor of one of her friends told her friend this... In 10 years you will forget all the trials it took to have a child because you will only focus on the family you did create. I try to remember that it takes time, but I'll be right there with you that some days are harder than others!

It sounds like you ladies have done a lot of research on the best ways to ttc and I wanted some opinions. Do you ttc in the am, at night, or just whenever you happen to have time? Do you work out while you ttc? I worry about him getting overheated if he works out before we bd. Do you lay flat with your hips up after you bd? Do you shower afterwards? All things I wonder every month. I'm doing all the same stuff I did when I got pregnant in June, but it doesn't seem to be working now and wanted to poll the audience! Haha!

Oh... And the wooden animals... My mil realized today that she ordered some "big bang theory" beer pint glasses and the animals were delivered instead! Haha! She cracks me up and I told her there was no way we could part with the animals after they made me laugh that hard!

You all be safe in the snow! We had flurries down here in the ATL today! Enough to shut down the city! ;) Haha! We are NOT prepared for any winter weather... Which always cracks me up after growing up in the northeast! Talk to you ladies soon

I forgot to say too... Melissa... Your "friend" and the "I just didn't see this working out" comment... Can you believe what people think is acceptable to say to a mourning, hormonal woman?? What is with people? I'm sure you handled it with poise though! :)

Lisa...while TTC, I used to get up straight away after BD and go to the bathroom! Can you believe it?! I realized in July that that was a no-no! We had been not preventing for 9 months at that point! So, that's my first piece of advice....don't use the bathroom right after! Because of that, I tended to want to BD right before bed....so that I would just fall asleep afterwards and not worry about any leakage. If it wasn't right before bed, I used to lift my hips up afterwards...put a pillow underneath and surfed my ipad for 20 minutes. In doing all that, it took us 2 cycles to get pregnant. Not sure if that helped, but I can't say that it didn't.

As far as positions, I heard the doggy-style and missionary are most preferred....as being on top lets the juice slide out. LOL. While actively TTC, and during the LH surge, I would switch to missionary only for the finale....hubby would put both his hands underneath me on my butt cheeks to raise up my hips a bit....and that's how it went!

Hi Ladies!
Sorry I've been off for awhile.... been really busy! we had 5" of snow on Christmas Day!!!! I can't believe it! .... but here in North Texas our snow turns into a really bad ice storm! DH and barely made it home from his aunts place because of the ice!

finally back to work today.... booo

It looks like I might have ovulated 3 days ago but I'm crossing my fingers my temps dont take another dive like they did a few days ago!

Michelle hang in there and try not to think so negitive! I have those days where i want to give up!
I actually told DH the other day that I think I'm done.... but he doesnt believe me and in the back of my mind i think there is no way i could stop ttc since we have two angle babies already! I know that if there is a want God will give it to us! I keep telling myself that there is a reason we haven't had a child yet! and will very soon!

In my small town of 4000 people there is 3 girls that are around my age that got married after me and are pregnant! one has the same due date as my last one .... I hurt so bad to think about that but I have to stay positive!

Jazzy I hope you are doing good!? have you called and got appointment yet? I'm so excited to hear!!

Michelle, please don't lose hope. There were days where I was CONVINCED that it would never happen for me. Remember those? I thought at the very least, we would have a long road of surgery and infertility treatments before it would happen! It WILL happen for you, I know it. Just try to keep the faith and know that it might take a little more time.

Melissa, your post made me realize that I will be due the first week of school! Oh well, I'll take it. Lol.

AFM, first doctor appointment will be Monday morning.

Quick update....

Seeing I have been having a few days of positive OPKs...I decided to dip an HPT in the same urine that I dipped my OPK....and I knew the HPT might have a faint line....

But, the test line on the HPT is darker than all the ones I have taken in the last 3 weeks.....

So, I called the doctor....nurse called me back....going in at 7am tomorrow morning for a blood draw for HCG quant, progesterone and estrogen check.

I don't know what to think. I have no sore boobs or nipples....but have been feeling under the weather this week a wee bit. I would be VERY shocked if this was a newbie baby because I have ZERO symptoms.

Hubby and I BD at least 2-3 times a week, if not more at times....so I guess it's possible....

Will update tomorrow.....

That's crazy! I guess anything could happen! I hear ur very fertile after a mc and so maybe good news for you tomorrow!? You have to let us know first thing!!! But if its not a baby then I wonder what could be causing your hcg to stay up?!

Anyway I hope you have favor and strength for whatever the outcome is!

I hope all the other ladies are doing good!

I'll be praying for you for girl!

Okay Ladies...

My HPT pic is up. The top HPT is from Sunday morning. The bottom HPT is from this afternoon.

Line is darker on the HPT I took this afternoon. Right?

Again, I have NO symptoms....no sore boobs, nothing. I have been taking my temp all along and I have had NO indication of ovulation.

Plus...I am bleeding light-medium. Red blood too.

If I am pregnant, it can't be good with all this bleeding. It wouldn't be viable.
