The Wannabe Mamas!

I am starting this thread for a group of ladies that already frequently communicate through journals and PMs. Since we already stalk one another's journals and countdown pages... I thought it might be nice for us to have a discussion forum, where we can frequently communicate our day to day ups and downs. Please re-introduce yourself and give us a summary of your journey to date!

My story:
DH and I have been TTC #1 since June 2012. In October, we found out that DH has a varicocele causing poor morphology (1-2%). This makes it difficult for us to conceive on our own. We are on some looong wait lists to see specialists. We need to see a urologist about possible surgery and a fertility specialist about possible IUI or IVF. Right now we are loking at 8-10 month wait times, but we might be able to get DH into a urologist much sooner if we can get into a clinic in the next province over. We are currently working toward making that happen! The surgery has about 50/50 odds of working. But we are hoping it works for us!

According....I would find a new doctor, quickly. It's not acceptable and it's not just "bad luck". Start calling today to see if any other GYNs are accepting new patients. You have to start somewhere and that starts today....or soon! Even if you hold off on TTC for awhile, just take time to figure out what's going on with your body. It can possibly be a simple find or fix.

Hi ladies! Just wanted to stop by quickly to share some good news :) I went in this morning for my second blood draw and I got the results from Wednesday. My progesterone was a 30.93 (I was SO happy about that) and my HCG was 78. Can't wait to confirm that it's increasing at a good rate! Probably won't know anything until Monday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Well, I guess this forum has fizzled out...

I just wanted to say that it does make me sad that we all talked daily, multiple posts in a day sometimes...and now, nothing. Slowly one by one each of you ladies left....and now the board is silent.

It just bothers me that shoulders and listening ears were provided, the times were taken to assure each other things would be okay. Just makes me feel sad because this was a place for support during the toughest of times for me....for all of us.

I'm also probably sure you don't want to come back to a place of stress and ups & downs....and people like me who are still trudging through the TTC process. I'm sure the CMP side is more upbeat and more of a place you ladies need to be. But, the reason we started this forum was to support each other....you want it until you don't need it anymore I guess.

I just needed to get that off my chest. I wish each of you the best of luck and happy times in your pregnancies. You do each deserve it.

This post....I don't know what to feel. I still come back regular to this site and check up on everyone, but how do I say anything on this forum or on journals without rubbing in my pregnancy and making anyone feel worse? Maybe thats why I stay quiet, I am here watching and listening but if I say something then I don't want anyone to think "well....she doesn't really know since she is pregnant now so how can she know...." I didn't mean to make anyone feel bad by not saying anything often...but I figured it was easier on the ones here if I didn't say anything because it is painful :( This is hard to even type...
Anyways, I hope all you ladies get your bfps and sticky babies....and I will be here often anyways to keep up with your stories. I love you all, you got me where I am. And I can't wait to read all of your success stories.

I agree!! I want to talk to you ladies and I want to be there for you all... I couldn't have gone through this without you!! And I'm not anywhere close to out of the woods yet! I just thought it was a quiet time! I'm still around though and I appreciate all of you so much!! How's everyone doing? I'd hate to see this group fizzle out :( But I also, like Britt, didn't know whether I should announce what's going on with me here. Let's not fizzle the group!! I want to support you all like you did for me!! This is a great group of women here!!

So... what's new? How's everyone doing?

No hpt testing until 17dpo just cause my last cycle my lp was 16 days so I'm waiting this round. I'm 4dpo today so I have 13 days to go for testing lol Will it ever get here :) Just trying to relax and have fun this tww of course the kiddies are stressing me out!!!! For once I can't wait to see the doctor on frday about them and their behavior!!! Hallelujah :)

It doesn't bother me at all ladies if you want to talk about your pregnancies and how they are going :) I just can't wait to be experiencing it myself. I'd talk about if I were you!! Tell us all the fun symtoms and funny stuff going on. Like Jazzy with her hot dog cravings lol It's fun and it actually kinda lightens the mood when we talk about it!
