I had my D&C jan 10th so I'm 3.5 weeks after my D&C....it just seems to be going by so slow.....it's driving me crazy. We are going on vacations in e beginning of March and I'm thinking that AF will show up right as i am getting on a 3.5hr flight...lol

An hcg of 51 at almost 4 weeks post D&C is good, so no worries. That was me 8 or 9 weeks out....so I think you will have a better time coming down. That would surely stink to have AF on vacation.....maybe you can talk to your doctor about how to avoid that....maybe try BC pills around the time you will be traveling just to keep from bleeding on your trip. I was seriously opposed to BC pills initially, but once I started them....I have gotten regular and my hcg levels took a nice nose-drive about a week after I started them.

I think at this point I will take AF whenever it comes.. It will definitely suck to have it on vacation but that means we can try again at the end of March . My DH loves Christmas so maybe we will be blessed with a Christmas baby. Last year around Christmas we found out we were pregnant, so it be nice to have a little bean during that time.... How are you doing?

Hi Katie...I agree...whenever AF comes, she comes. Hopefully sooner than later for you. How long did your recovery last from your D&C? How long did you bleed for?

AFM....I'm up and down. Some days I am bitter and angry, other days I am just "eh, whatever". It's been 15 weeks post D&C and I think I'm experiencing some sort of delayed depression about the loss. I'm so angry about it...angry about a lot of things. It's probably unhealthy....and causing me to be moody a lot. I don't even know what I want anymore in regards to TTC. Not sure whether I should just let this pass...or seek some sort of healthy outlet. I'm trying to dive in to work more....offering to teach a graduate course, working Early Intervention....on top of keeping busy with my 10 year old DS who is very involved in basketball. My DH works nights....so it's only me making this entire house run like a tight ship. You'd think I have enough to keep my mind busy?! LOL

So....that's me....how depressing, right?! But, I can't change how I feel at the moment, or else I would!

My D&C was on a Thursdays ...not to much pain after just light cramping on and off.

Thursday and Friday -light spotting nothing heavy

Saturday and Sunday- heavy bleeding with some clots still passing but only when I went to the bathroom to. Pee. (Sorry for the tmi)

Monday ... Some brownish spotting nothing heavy at all
Tuesday ..... (Tmi alert)... Just creamy cm with some super tiny brown spots .

And nothing since. So everything from jan10-15 from start to finish.

My husband works nights to 730pm to about 730am...so it's just me and my dog at night time...lol..with his schedule it is crazy frustrating to find the time to do the dance when both of us are not super tired.. Lol

Well ladies I think I very closely nearing the point of just saying forget it to everything. I've been on meds for a month now and nothing. I think once I reach cd 70 with no clear ovulation or af I am going to call the doc and see if a dose of provera can help start things. If not then I am just throwing all tests away and saying F it all. This is really taking a toll on my emotional status. My opks have gone back to barely a second line again so that means no imminent ovulation and I just can't stand this!!!!!

Katie....very nice recovery from D&C....thats the way they should be! My first D&C was like that back in 2007....this last one not so much.

Michelle! Okay.....from one angry, depressed TTCer to another.....trust me when I say I feel what you're saying about throwing everything away. I cant say dont give up....because I would be straight up lying.....I dont even know what words of comfort to offer because I dont even know myself what I would want to hear! Of course we dont want to give up, but not giving up causes so much pain and frustration. Damned if we do, damned if we dont. Does that make sense?

Maybe take a small break....just 2 weeks....mark it on your calendar. Give yourself 2 weeks to say F*** it and ignore all TTC. No opks, temping, etc. See how you feel after the 2 weeks....then decide.

Hi ladies! Sorry I went MIA on you all! We had a busy weekend of getting the house ready to be appraised and then when I got ready to go to work yesterday I had a text from my coworker saying she was in labor! Super excited for her (honestly) but now is one of the hardest times for her to be out. I'm an accountant (not taxes though) and not only are we closing our books for January, but I have ton of auditors needing work from me. So now I'm doing her job and mine! I've been swamped to say the least! So yeah, I also tend to check things on here at lunch, but my lunches were taken away because I had a dentist appt yesterday and had to take my big girl to the vet today. Long story short, sorry I disappeared

Katie - it took me about 3 weeks to be back to normal. Had my D&C August 21 and at my 3 week post op on 9/11 I was negative and had all my testing done. Good luck! Sounds like you are going down nicely! And you'll be so relieved when that first AF comes. I literally cheered when my first one came back.

Melissa and Michelle - I totally know your feelings too... I should be 37 weeks right now and it's been 25 weeks since my D&C and I too struggle a lot. One thing that's helped me recently is starting therapy. I've only had one session and I was nervous to start because I was just skeptical, but she said some things to me that really clicked and I've been happier this last week than I've been in a long time. Even my husband said "I'm just so happy to see you smiling!". It's been a nice change. I am in my 2ww now and I tend to be happier this time of my cycle, so I'm anxious to see how I feel when AF shows. We had a lame ass attempt at trying over the weekend and I'm starting my progesterone today. Hubbs is tired of the tracking, bd'ing and everything, so there were no rules other than "are you in the mood? Me too... Let's go!". Haha... It's been refreshing. I have to track because of the progesterone, but somehow I caught my surge with the first test. It was so nice not to dwell and stress and I think I'm getting back to normal because I finally o'd when I used to before my D&C.

Good luck to all of us on here! I'm so happy we found each other and can just have a grand ole bitch session to each other. I know we don't judge each other by the honesty of our feelings and I love this group for that. We all understand where the others are coming from. One of my coworkers told me my Chinese horoscope for next year is really good, and Chinese new year is coming up soon! So, here we go... Let's celebrate another new beginning!! Love you girls!

AFM...I took my last BC pill last night. I don't know what I want to do honestly. Don't know if I'm ready for all the TTC drama....I might just fill the script and see how I feel next week. Its been a nice break....and I've had time to focus on other things....not sure yet what I want to do.

Decisions.....decisions......

Hi ladies!! Wanted to check in and tell you all that I got 5 's today! haha! I didn't believe it at first! I used the amazing tests that Melissa recommended from ebay (thanks, Melissa!!) and the first one had 2 lines when I got out of the shower. So, I took a CBE digital... negative. So, then I did another ebay test and 2 lines. So, I went to Publix to get a FRER and it was just the slightest bit positive. All day I've been thinking, omg, what if this is it!! So, I saved up and took a FRER when I got home and it came up fast and dark! OMG! So, ran to the store (bc I took my last CBE digital this morning), got a CBE digital (I like seeing "pregnant") and it came up "pregnant." Thank god my therapist convinced me to stay on the progesterone and thank god I called my OB today. They fit me in for tomorrow afternoon... so I'll be donating some more blood to their collection! I'm still in shock though... we only BD'd 3 times, I didn't lay still afterwards, I showered right after all 3 times. I mean, the past 3 months I was "doing the right thing" and this time I did it by breaking every single one of my rules! Anyway, I'll keep you ladies posted! I couldn't have gotten to this point without your support though!! And I'm not going anywhere and I want to know how each of you are doing and because I know exactly where each of you are. And I'm not letting myself get excited yet... don't know when I will, but I'm pretty leery about this pregnancy thing

Anyway, hope you're all having great weeks and have some amazing plans for Valentine's day! I'll let you all know when I hear HCG numbers!!
