The Wannabe Mamas!
I am starting this thread for a group of ladies that already frequently communicate through journals and PMs. Since we already stalk one another's journals and countdown pages... I thought it might be nice for us to have a discussion forum, where we can frequently communicate our day to day ups and downs. Please re-introduce yourself and give us a summary of your journey to date!
My story:
DH and I have been TTC #1 since June 2012. In October, we found out that DH has a varicocele causing poor morphology (1-2%). This makes it difficult for us to conceive on our own. We are on some looong wait lists to see specialists. We need to see a urologist about possible surgery and a fertility specialist about possible IUI or IVF. Right now we are loking at 8-10 month wait times, but we might be able to get DH into a urologist much sooner if we can get into a clinic in the next province over. We are currently working toward making that happen! The surgery has about 50/50 odds of working. But we are hoping it works for us!

Hi Ladies!
Lots of good news here. According, have you taken another hpt yet? Here's to hoping the line getting darker and darker!!
Britt....I saw your latest test line....wahoooo! I'm so happy for you! That is nice and dark!
AFM,....I am straight crazy today with laundry, running my DS to bball practice and starting a school project for DS that's due Friday. They have to make a replica of a type of cloud...and write a short essay on it. Yeah, I'll be hot gluing this cloud together and DS will type his essay! On top of that, we have an away bball game Thursday and it's supposed to snow like CRAZY! We have to drive 45 minutes for this game....not looking forward to it!!
I made an appt. with a rheumotologist for the end of March, which was their first availability. Better than 6 months from now! Whew....so that's taken care of. My answers won't be immediate, but they are on their way.
Still feeling joint pain in my fingers...elbows and knees. My hubby takes Flax Oil capsules, so I've been borrowing some of those from him to see if that helps any. I did take some ibuprofen this morning....and it worked for awhile. But, when I get teaching, I get busy and don't think too much about any type of soreness or pain. I've worked through a terrible UTI, tooth infection and IBS....so I'm pretty much good to go!

Welcome back, Jazzy!! OMG... 9 weeks already!!? You go, girl!! :) Have you had any ultrasounds yet??
Thanks for the support ladies! I went to my first therapy session last night. I've never done therapy before and really didn't know what to expect. She was interesting, and at times made me a lil angry, but probably all things I should hear and be open to. Maybe that's where I'm falling apart. I'm not seeing the reality and when someone pushes me to see it I'm gonna resist a little. She gave me a better way to view the ladies in my office to surround me all day with their pregnant bellies from these miracle "accidental" pregnancies. So, I'm hoping to have a little more positive motion coming my way. I will go back for my next session next Thursday. I also took a yoga for depression and anxiety workshop on Sunday and learned some things that I put into practice last night that helped me out! Oh... and my therapist asked what my support system is and I mentioned you ladies and she reinforced how wonderful you all are (which of course I already knew ) and how great it is to find support from others going through the same situations. So, I just want to say thank you and together we're all going to be winners in this game!!
Also, I know we talked about Vera Bradley before... saw this in my inbox... diaper bags in select colors on sale!! haha! $49... can't beat that! Perfect for our newly pregnant mommas to look into or us still waiting who just like to plan ahead!

I hope to continue to see good news about progesterone working and about HCG levels going up!! And, yes, this site is way more active than the other!
Melissa - good luck with the cloud project... that sounds like a crazy project!! And hope your joints are feeling better soon!!
Hugs to you ladies!

Hey Lisa!
Cloud project is all complete and at school! Whew! Now we just need to get through basketball season! :)
I am just feeling probably the way you have been the last week....and I hate to put it on here because I do not want to isolate our pregnant buddies at all. But I have been bitter and angry....and really trying to find a way out of it. The distance has helped but, miss our conversations. Its hard when things havent gone as planned....and its a struggle to either start over or just simply accept and move on. Maybe yoga or therapy will help me too....
So while I am usually posting daily....it has helped to take a few days break here and there.
Maybe we need a forum for ladies waiting to TTC? As to not depress anyone! LOL
