The Wannabe Mamas!

I am starting this thread for a group of ladies that already frequently communicate through journals and PMs. Since we already stalk one another's journals and countdown pages... I thought it might be nice for us to have a discussion forum, where we can frequently communicate our day to day ups and downs. Please re-introduce yourself and give us a summary of your journey to date!

My story:
DH and I have been TTC #1 since June 2012. In October, we found out that DH has a varicocele causing poor morphology (1-2%). This makes it difficult for us to conceive on our own. We are on some looong wait lists to see specialists. We need to see a urologist about possible surgery and a fertility specialist about possible IUI or IVF. Right now we are loking at 8-10 month wait times, but we might be able to get DH into a urologist much sooner if we can get into a clinic in the next province over. We are currently working toward making that happen! The surgery has about 50/50 odds of working. But we are hoping it works for us!

Yes I think it is a little darker...I am iffy on the bleeding and I'd certainly be concerned but there are many who have had bleeding and gone on to birth a perfectly healthy baby :) I am an example lol my mom bled with me and even passed clots but I'm here alive and well....kind of anyway lol

Melissa - I'm dying to know what happens tomorrow morning. I just looked at your tests you posted and I definitely think the bottom one is darker. Let us know what's going on ASAP! That would be exciting to have a new pregnancy and I have also heard of women who bleed all through a pregnancy. Good luck tomorrow morning!

Melisa hope to hear something soon!

Geez ladies what's the deal with my chart?!
The only thing I thought of this morning is this is the first winter I've temped in? Not sure if that make a difference? I started temping for the first time the end of this January.... So could the colder temps make a difference? I go in Monday for blood work to see if I O'd!

Happy Saturday!

*sigh*

Doctor called....

22 hcg quant
<0.5 progesterone
9 estradiol

Doesnt think it's a newbie....but seeing my levels were 47.8 in the beginning of this month, he isnt completely ruling it out. However.....slim slim sliiiim chance. Having to go back, again, on Wednesday to see what the levels do.

If they go up....we will deal with that. If they go down, I am going on birth control for 3 weeks so I can stop bleeding.

I feel every time doctor tells me my levels are low....its a slap in the face. I feel depressed all over again. I was really hoping my levels would have been higher.

Oh well...thats my update....

I'm sorry Melissa....Try to stay as positive as you can Maybe just maybe it is a new pregnancy and it is just very early If not then you know that the hcg is just about out of your system and you'll be starting new again Either way it goes it will be okay if all else fails at least you know you'll soon be ovulating!!! Then you'll be looking for that Somehow some way we will ALL make it through this and end up with

Well then you'll be getting ready to ovulate soon!!!! You're hcg was so high! Hey damn you if I'm not taking a break neither are YOU!!!!! No No NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo lol and more no

I know it has to be so hard seeing those lines on the hpts nothing like a cruel tease Our bodies and nature can be so cruel and deceiving. It's amazing we all not locked up in a looney bin lol like I said we'll get through this one day, one step at a time tears and laughter, sadness and happiness in the end we will forget all the emtions we've been through

Melissa,
I know it sucks, but I think it is a good idea for you to go on the bcp for a few weeks. Then everything will be back to normal with your cycles and the opks and hpts will be less confusing. I really want that for you!
Once you're back in the game, it won't be long before you get that BFP!
