What is licorice root supposed to help with? I have upper back problems so I can sympathize! Hope you feel better soon!

Lol i meant MS as in morning sickness but i just realized that in medical terms it stands for multiple sclerosis. Sorry if i was a bit confusing. And licorice root is supposed to be like soy or clomid except not as strong, and it lowers testosterone levels in women. Idk if i have elevated testosterone levels but it was recommended on a pcos webpage so i figured id give it a shot since i have pcos

I am just giving a quick update but wanted to let you all know that I didn't test this morning. I can't face another single line looking back at me. I am 11DPO today and really am pretty sure that this isn't my month. Both times I have been preggers my boobs have hurt by now and they are not at all at the moment so I am sure I am out. I am expecting AF tomorrow so I will let you all know....

Hey All! It's great seeing all these pics of you lovely ladies!

Went to the Dr yesderday for my Day 3 U/S.....she was happy to report that my ovaries looked less cyst-y than they have the last couple of months () , so she is putting off injections for another month, and we are going to try a round of letrozole (femara) this month with IUI.....I've been trying to stay positive (was soooo ready for CD1, as it meant I could try again!) but found myself really anxious and sad in the Drs office...it didn't help that there were all kinds of preggo ladies in there, and it was such a cruel reminder that we had failed yet again last month.

A little nervous taking a breast cancer drug to make a baby, but from the (insane amount!!!) research I've been doing on the internet, letrozole might have better outcomes for PCOS ladies than Clomid. Fingers crossed that this is true! Going back to the Drs for a scan next Thursday, hoping for a great big folli (and one who grows faster than my normal 24 day "O"!)

Aloha - So Sorry about AF! I know how you feel about the long cycles though. My longest was 61 days..before I started clomid. Hope things work out for you and AF isnt so mean! Glad to see that your ovaries look better though!!

my HCG today was 624..so it has doubled. we are scheduled for an ultrasound on sept 23rd....i am praying everything goes ok.

I really think the baby dust will rub off on u girls.

Ladies all of your pictures are beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I felt left out and decided to post a pic of me but for a very short time since I am scared someone I know may see it. (knowing my luck, it can happen, lol). I think that it is great for us to at least have an idea of what we look like. I pictured Margaret with longer brown hair. Victoria pictured you with dark hair too, so weird!!

AFM: CD4 AF is definitely heavier than most clomid cycles. Should have ended by now but that's ok. I bought 100% grapefruit juice today and flaxseed oil. Each capsule has 1000mg, how many capsules should I take a day? I heard grapefruit juice is good for cm.

Nat: You're also another gorgeous girl! I totally know what you mean about someone recognizing you. That's why I'm wussing out with a beach pic. About the pom juice. I couldn't fInd 100% pom juice so I got 60% pom juice mix with other fruit. Then I just drank 2 glasses per day. You only need to drink 1 glass per day. I took 2 1,000mg of flaxseed capsule per day. I hope AF will get better soon for you. No Clomid this cycle, right?

Aloha: I met with a fertility specialist 2 months ago and he also recommended Femara. I was getting really close to trying it! It doesn't give you more eggs but better quality. Hope you O sooner!

Shea: I hope you get the licorice roots soon. Is it in a capsule form? I have visions of you chewing on an actual root!

Carolyn: enjoy your BDing! The conceive plus that I used said that it has zinc & other nutrients to help out the spermies. I know that you said you are good in the cm dept. but just a thought.

Hi Kraken, Melissa, Jess, and others. Sorry if I forgot some of you as I don't mean to. How are you all doing?

AFM: Hubby has said to me 3 times today that I need to chill out and relax! Not sure if you might remember but I've been having just a tiny amount of brown cm since last Sat. My numbers came back from yesterday at 13dpo with 276 hCG and 17 for progesterone. My doc is concerned about the spotting so I'm going back tomorrow for a pelvic u/s and another blood test. I don't think I'll ever be able to stop worrying about one thing or another. I really need to be committed! Sorry this is boring talk to you ladies. I really am pulling for all of you to get your BFP on your current cycle! Sooner is better than later!

Hey everyone!!! Sorry I have been MIA. I have had the worst cold for the past three days!

The HSG was clear!!! Yay!!! There was a slight blockage on my left side, but when the doc pushed the dye through it cleared it. It was painful, but I have had worse pain. It wouldn't have been as painful for me of the doc hadn't had to widen the opening of my cervix. Also, he accidentally inflated the balloon in my cervix instead of my uterus on his first try. That was uncomfortable. The pain was worth knowing that my tubes are clear!

One thing I had a question about. The doc mentioned that my uterus is kind of small, and he isn't the first doctor to mention it (my first gyno when I was a teenager mentioned it). Is that a problem?

Good morning ladies...... I have been suffering with sinus/ allergy issues... I actually think I may have a sinus infection now. Yuck! I have been feeling terrible. But I still have no smiley face yet. Just waiting for the happy face to appear!! Dh and I bd'd last night again. I just hope I O soon!!!! should be any day now.
