Mummywannabe26 ~ Welcome to forum! I too have had lots of hot flashes. It drove me nuts when trying to sleep. I'd wake up being hot, throw the blankets off of me, and shortly after I was cold again. It happened to me during the daytime too, even after I had finished my 5 days of clomid. I haven't had any for a couple days before ovulations, and none since. This is my first round of clomid.

Vm1980 ~ I normally run low with my temps too. Clomid has definitely made my temps higher than normal, I even had a couple above 97, but that might have been due to waking up with hot flashes a couple hours before actually getting up and out of bed. I was still able to pinpoint the temp rise after ovulating. Feel free to check out my temps on my page.

girls!

Hello all!

Babylove9 - I had one dizzy spell after my first round of clomid... I was driving with DS in the back and almost had to pull over! I'm done with round 3 and haven't had a dizzy spell since the first one.. I think it's just a common side effect. Take it easy, girl!!

Mummywannabe - Welcome! I think most ladies here feel the hot flashes from clomid! I get them at night and wake up a few times to kick all my covers off. Like the dizzy spells, just a common side effect. Good luck and fingers crossed that you get your BFP quickly!!

vm1980 - Clomid makes me have a short fuse, too. That's the best way to put it.. "short fuse"... if something upsets me, I instantly snap about it... almost in a confrontational way. I'm quick to apologize, and luckily, DH is understanding that I'm on medication and hormonal haha ;)

Update on me - I was feeling really down this weekend as I took an opk on Friday night and it was on it's way to positive, but just not quite there yet.. Then Saturday morning, I took another, and it was LIGHTER than Friday night, then Saturday night, even less of a line.. Sunday morning - almost NO line. I was terrified that I had missed my LH surge and ovulation had already occurred, even though that would have been an extremely early O for me (I figured since I had my HSG and and am clomid, anything was possible). We hadn't been BDing like we would around O time, so I was so upset that we missed the egg... Then, magically, Sunday afternoon I took another opk and it was STRONG positive! The BD marathon began Friday, even though I was afraid we had missed the egg.. so I hope we're still in the game! I don't temp, so I usually consider the day after my positive opk as my actual O day (today!). We BD'd late last night and will again today, and tomorrow, and the next day, LOL!! I am sooooo hoping this is our month!

We visited a friend in the hospital who had her baby on Friday - and I remember when they told us they were trying for baby number 2, we said, "Us, too!"... It hits home, holding someone's newborn that has been in his mommy's belly for almost 10 months, how long you've been trying and wanting to hold your own.

P.S. After BD last night, we propped pillows under my hips and I held my knees to my chest for about half an hour... During this time, I took long slow breaths, relaxed, and visualized the little swimmers making their way towards my egg, attacking my egg.. haha.. obviously, I'm at the point where I'll try anything!!

One last thing, does anyone know if you can buy preseed at drug stores? If so, where? Or do you have to order it off the internet?? Thanks.. baby dust to all!!

Sooo... I don't want to get my hopes up, but I've been feeling pretty positive about my first round of clomid, and really just cannot help it. My DH had ANOTHER dream about me being pregnant last night. So I think that's a good sign. I know I'm going to be quite the symptom spotter for the two week wait, but am really going to try not to take any pregnancy tests too early because I don't want to disappoint myself or anything. On another note, I've been reading into the creamy cm that I've been having, that seems pretty abundant today, and have seen that listed in the early symptoms for a lot of women. Although, I have read that it's been a normal thing for some women too... So fingers crossed! I hope this two week wait doesn't drag out for too long.

Totally fed up! Still no new cycle so still can't start my first round of clomid! When I saw the consultant I turned down drugs to get my cycle started as the last three were regular and now I'm back to nothing with no appointment until july! Gonna hav e to ring and see if they will prescribe something but usually appointments are made 6 weeks in advance. Hubby is 12 years older than me and is starting to think he's nearly too old for another baby and if it doesn't happen soon then maybe we should leave it! I know I'm lucky to have one child, so my moaning cannot compare to childless couples but would love my ds to have a sibling! Good luck to everyone currently at that crucial point in their cycle! X

Well ladies af showed up today as expected :-( I was supposed to take a break but my husband talked me into taking my last round. I guess it couldn't make things any worse than they are because I don't think I could get any more down in the dumps. Its hard staying positive when I'm on my 3rd round of clomid(to be started on the 23rd). Well the bright side is that I am ovulating and clomid has made my cycles perfectly 28 days with a 14 day lp, just like in the textbooks..lol. had to get a laugh. I needed it. Well here's to hoping the 3rd time does the trick. Good luck ladies and hold me in your prayers plz because I need all I can get.

Oh no Lels21. I am so sorry to hear that. I had to take prometrium to get my period started before this cycle started and even after I finished my pills it took a whole nother week before came. And the cycle before, the prometrium made come early, and unfortunately my doctor wasn't in to prescribe and get me started on the clomid. I understand that frustration. I hope that witch shows up soon for you! I had, had cycles that would last up to 46 days and after almost a year of trying, I found out that I hadn't even been ovulating. I'm wishing the best for you and your DH. Prayers going out hun!

Hoping4babysoon~sorry to hear that af showed up for you. that third time is the charm for you and your dh!

lels21, mummywannabee26~ welcome to the forum.

JamieNix~This tww has been making me bonkers as well! So many symptoms show up and I don't know if it's because of the clomid, pms or pg!

vm1980~I started getting high fertility readings on my monitor very early, cd12, and then I had a peak fertility reading on cd16. So I think it is normal to have an increase in your hormones much earlier in your cycle.

As for me~I talked to my Fertility Specialist's nurse today and my cd21 Progesterone test results are 22.1. She said that indicates I did ovulate and faxed me a requisition to get a pregnancy test on either Friday or Monday if af stays away. This is my first round of Clomid so I really don't feel all that optimistic as I've been having mild period like cramping for over a week now. I feel as though I am out this month but that's ok because I went into this whole Clomid thing with an open mind and knowing that it may not work for me, especially after only one month.

& to all of you!
