Hi Ladies,

Hope you had a great weekend.

JessH - that is crazy about the lady. I bet this means a baby is coming your way soon. Weird what is going on with your period. I am curious about low proj. for you as well. Hmm. Annoying.

Shea - I am sorry you have been feeling sick and I am sorry it sounds like your whole world is pregnant right now. That happened to me too. It is the worst. I really hope that things happen for you soon. Have you thought anymore about that adiption option?

Faith - glad you are done your first cycle of clomid! Now comes the fun part :). Are you going to use opks this month?

Kraken - haha love your theory. Sounds good to me. Lets hope this is the boost you needed. Maybe an xmas bfp???

Melissa - I am interested in how your appointment goes today. Please let us know. Very exciting that things are moving for you.

How is everyone else?

AFM - I had a nice weekend away with all my best friends at a few Christmas parties in Vancouver. People were commenting on my 'baby bump' which is fun because that is new - people being able to tell I am preggers and not just putting on weight. I am thinking that I am startign to feel baby move but not sure. Nopefully I will know for sure soon.

Jessh- I am sorry the spotting keeps changing colors. I hope that it is implantation bleeding. If AF doesn't look like she is going to show, then definitely take a test soon.

Kraken- Hopefully the tightness will go away soon. Like you said, it can be a good thing for the spermies!

I am so sorry if I have missed anyone.

AFM: Not going to see the fertility specialist who did the 3 pregnancy u/s that I had. It was so hard saying goodbye to her. I called the insurance company and they said that the change has taken effect. I made an appointment with the doctor that I wanted for the pregnancy. Dh and I are going in for a u/s on 12/12. Can't wait to meet this doctor. Still getting m/s but have not thrown up for a few days now.

Hi Mo - I have been using OPK's since I started trying to conceive. I also temp. I had been taking Soy Iso and EPO. The last 2 cycles my O date went from CD 15 to CD 13. I'm hoping it stays that way or comes even earlier.

Hi Love00 - I'm 36yo and I guess my estrogen level may be low. I also have to take progesterone once I O. This better get me pregnant!

Marg - I am starting to wonder if I had a chem or this is IB idk what my body is doing! I popped a prometrium just in case. And I plan on buying a test (or 2 or 3) if I don't start AF at work tonight. Glad you had fun at your christmas party.

Nat - Yay for the OB you wanted! I go back and forth on what my body is doing...I don't want to get too excited...bc then the let down is that much worse!

Faith - another lady I talk to is on estrogen after her BFP, I hadn't heard of it either...but obviously it happens and I learn something new every day.

Ash - what did your spotting look like that first week? I am anxious!

My spotting is brown and kinda stringy like old and dried up, then others it looks like reddish brown wet cm. No red red yet. Or pink really. Still crampy and IC was totally BFN no color only white taunting me

I am thinking about purchasing an off brand blue dye test too simply bc with 2nd pregnancy those were the ones that gave me the darkest positive. What do you think?

Hi ladies,

I had a great appointment with an unexpected outcome. I went in thinking that I'd have a one or two measurable follicles and that I'd have to go back in a couple of days for another check before having my IUI done.

Instead, I have five (yes 5!) measurable follies, two close to mature on the right (17 and 15 mm) and one close to mature on the left at 14.5mm. The other two are smaller, but there and will grow. The Dr. was shocked, and ordered a trigger shot for me for tomorrow night so that I don't end up with 5 mature follicles releasing!

I definitely wasn't expecting to get a trigger shot, so I was very surprised about that part, and even more surprised that the IUI will be on Thursday. I thought it wouldn't be until Friday at the earliest, and I fully expected it to be on the weekend.

So, now we have to hope that DH has some good sperm swimming around and with any luck we will have a very Merry Christmas.

Nat, I'm glad your insurance got sorted out and that you get to see the Dr you wanted. You'll have to bring your baby into see your fertility Dr once it gets here. I bet she'd love that.

Marg, to me the baby movements felt just like little bubbly flutters. Almost like gas bubbles moving around. Soon enough you'll have no doubt that it's the baby moving. I believe I was around 18 weeks the first time.

JessH, *hugs* on the BFN.

Shea, good luck on the soy! I hope you have a fast ovulation this cycle!

Faith, good luck!

Hugs and luck to all!

Jess - first it started as spotting brown only when I wiped, then the next day it was brown and enough for a panty liner during the day. that lasted about a week and I actually thought it was just going to be a light "old blood" AF cycle but then I took my BBT 2 days in a row and it was super high which didnt make sense to me b/c if AF was around my temps drop drastically. I guess the best way to describe it is when AF is leaving. I personally would buy some tonight if AF doesn't show. I don't really care for blue dye ones but if they worked for you last time it can't hurt again.

Sorry I can't catch up with everyone right now. I promise too but Ive got to finish up some laundry and get dinner started.

& & for everyone!

Jessh- I don't know about the blue dye. Mine was obviously a true positive when I first found out. Get a red dye one too, just in case. Go to Walmart if you have one near you. Best prices. They even have .88 cent ones now. Don't know if they work well but it is always good to have a variety of different kinds of tests. I would get a pack of FRER with 3 in there (because there was a bonus one) for like 9 bucks! I think that's a great price. Keep us updated.

Faith- Hope this cycle is it for you :)

Melissa- I am so happy your appointment went very well and that you were pleasantly surprised! Will be praying for you. Yeaaay, the IUI is so close! I didn't know that the trigger shot prevents the release of more than one. Is that what it does?

Nat, the trigger shot won't prevent me from ovulating more than one egg, but instead will force me to ovulate the already mature eggs faster, so the two immature ones can't catch up and release too. I should ovulate the three that are mature now. The two smaller ones won't have time to grow to maturity, but they probably would have if I was left to ovulate on my own.

Wow lisser! That amazing! I pray your DH has super swimmer and you get triplets lol!!! That is such great news! I bet if you were left to ovulate on your own it would be painful with all those eggies. FX oh and what days did you take clomid?

Ladies, I just took my soy. I took 120mg which equals to 60mg of clomid. I don't want to over do it... Maybe between this and metformin I'll have a baby by next Christmas.

Oh and I forgot to mention. My mom, as yall already know, doesn't know we are trying and doesn't know I have such major fertility road blocks. But she keeps mentioning that DH and I should start trying for a baby soon. So I know se is getting the what I call "grandma itches" lol I want to tell her I'm more than ready to give her a grandbaby but I really want my pregnancy to be a surprise. If I ever get pregnant. And I dot want to burden her with the fact it may never happen.

Shea Soy Cycle1- Soy Cycle2- Soy Cycle3- "For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37

So nursejones, let me ask u.... for the last 3 months I was taking 200mg of soy from day 3 to day 5. I went from O'ing on CD15 TO CD13. But now I just finished my first cycle of 50 mg of clomid. OK now the actual question (LOL) will I O the same day? Cd13? It seems like the soy would have been more powerful - 200mg soy = 100mg of clomid - than 50mg of clomid. Or is the clomid just as powerful? OK I'm obsessing now sorry.

Maybe its just the estrogen/progesterone issue. I swear that the d&c I had in April completely messed me up. I feel like my body has not been the same. OK I'm rambling now.
