Hey faith- Cd 12 opk should be accurate but I know that our bodies can do weird things. I don't know if clomid can interfere with regular cycles. About your bbt, how were your charts before clomid? Did your temp rise after O? I would suggest you keep testing. Just in case. Which opk brands do you use? Hope your temp goes up!

Hi Love -

I use wondfo opks and I have left over CVS brand.

I'm still surging. Usually thenext day the opk is significantly lighter. Not today. It's the same color as the test line.

My temp was 97.7 today. Usually the day before O my bbt is like 97.1 to 97.4. Then it will shoot to 98.

Do you think that maybe it's from the estrogen? Yesterday was my last day for that.

Last night I had the WORST O pain (which I rarely ever get).

*** Update****
I just googled estrogen and ovulation and everything basically came up with birth control - so I bet you that's what's it. Once the estrogen gets out (like maybe tomorrow) then I should O.

Ok ladies...has anyone been tested for poor ovarian reserve. Because I googled for a friend whose cycles are getting shorter and shorter and realized that the LH:FSH ratio that family dr diagnosed me with PCOS by is usually partly a way they diagnos that too. Holy toots. So now I am going to ask for more blood work....gah! I can't wait to go to a specialist.

Hi ladies

I'm still here. Sorry I have been MIA. I had to go back to the emergency room yesterday. Turns out I'm allergic to sulfer drugs (my uti meds) and it looked like I had the chicken pox. anyways I had to get a nasty steroid shot to counteract the meds and ive just been resting and feeling crummy today. We have spent the weekend with my parents which has been rather nice actually. I'm going to be sad when we go home tomorrow. I took an OPK today...it was a little dark but not close to a positive. It would be amazing and such a wonderful blessing if I Od like a "normal" woman. FX for ovulation on CD 13 or 14 if not sooner.

Love y'all and I'll write more tomorrow when I'm home. Sending prayers.

Shea, I thought I had posted one time wondering if you were allergic to the metformin.

Now that you've said you have a sulfa drug allergy, I'm certain you are allergic to the met, and that's why you've been so sick taking it. It's also a sulfa drug.

http://endocrine-system.emedtv.com/m/glipizide-and-metformin/precautions-and-warnings-with-glipizide-and-metformin-p2.html
"If you are allergic to sulfonamides ("sulfa" medications), you may also be allergic to glipizide and metformin, although most people with sulfa allergies can take the drug without problems. To be safe, let your healthcare provider know if you have a sulfa allergy."

Hi ladies

Lisser thank you so much for the info. I called my Dr office first thing this morning to let them know. They told me that it was fine for me to continue taking the metformin because it was a different class of sulfa drugs. I'm so relieved because it has been helping with my PCOS and I've finally gotten able to take it without vomiting, ect...lol. You are so great to bring that to my attention though because it never even crossed my mind. HUGS. Are you going to continue testing? I'm praying that you will get an early Christmas present!!!

AFM- I'm tired, But doing some "winter cleaning". Oh and I'm on CD 10. I have a feeling this cycle will be a bust so I'm just keeping myself busy with holiday cheer :) and cleaning lol. Other than that, nothing new to report.

How are all my pregnant sisters holding up? Victoria, are you feeling better dear? I sure hope so.

I'm glad the met isn't making you sick any more.

I'm going to keep testing until its a clear negative and then give it a few days before I start testing again. Maybe, lol. I have 8 tests left. I may just keep going, hahaha!
