Big. Freakin. Failure.

Tested today. BFN!

CD33. Cycles are usually 27-31 days.

Frustrated beyond belief.

I feel that way too today!!!! BFN!

I just hate putting all of this effort into this and then getting a big fat negative....

I am 12 dpo and I got light spotting today so I am not sure if this is AF or not; maybe I am just wishful thinking.... I should think that it is AF but I hang on to the hope to the very bitter end..... ugh....... I hate this whole process sometimes...... so disapointing at times....I am there with you..... I want to drink some wine; but what if maybe ... then I don't want to so I can't even drink my frustration and disapointment away tonight....

Hey girls! Well, I'm in the middle of a wonderful blizzard here in Chicago. I'm so cold I don't even want to type. I live approximately on Lake Michigan and the wind is blowing straight through every crack in my high rise windows...which may I add are only single pane because this building was built in the god damn 70's!!! Glad I rent this condo. Ha ha..

Gosh, I think I'm on cd 8... I should get my OPK's and preggo tests tomorrow but with this storm it may be a day late...which is fine because I feel absolutely NO O cramping...which is weird. Maybe I'm in the same boat as you Corvina. I don't know..

Corvina, my DH and I have been together 4 years this March. Obviously our sex life was fierce for the first year and a half. The last 2 and a half I'm lucky if we have sex once a month. About 2 years ago we got into some pretty bad fights around the fact that his drive for porno was much more stronger than his drive for having sex with me....it was such a tough and awful situation. And I loved having sex much more than him. The sucky part is as you go through that stuff, it never goes back to the way that it was but you find a new normal. We love TTC and such now and it's special when we do have sex, but we love our sleep so much more now. Lol....I'm trying to get back into small treats like "BJ's" and stuff like that for him too so that way there is some form of sexual build up.

I dunno. We do have a hotel room for this next weekend so we are pretty excited. :)

Pookie sorry to hear you guys are getting slammed with a snow storm. I know how you feel though we've gotten so much snow we're running out of places to put it... backing out of the driveway is hell!!

Nothing new to report here... been bd-ing everyday for the last 2 days, and planning on again when dh gets home from work tonight. I started to get some cramping today so I think O should be right around the corner. But so far no positive opks.

And as for what I do to relax (yeah I know that post was like pages ago!! LoL! Sorry!!)... I like to go for a nice warm bubble bath, read a book, or just lay on the couch and listen to music.

I am on CD9 - set to ovulate on tuesday but am really really crampy today.. what's up with that???

so I think I am trying a new strategy... my DH and I are going to start BD'ing sunday until weds.... and longer if necessary. But I think we began too early last month... any thoughts? anyone tried this strategy?

Also, I'm going to acupuncture thursday. and going to buy myself more Preseed.

nothing else going on here... snow day tomorrow for me... get to sleep in late...

Bens and Pookie, I am getting slammed with the storm too. We got about 4 inches last night over the old snow that never melted from last time and tonight, while I was at work, we got an icestorm! Of course, hubby had his nerve block done in his back today and even though he was feeling ok, the doc did not want him on his feet much, so he had to take the day off work. Driving to work was not so bad. When I came out at the end of my shift, I had an inch of solid ice on the truck. It took me 35 minutes just to get the windows, mirrors and headlamps cleared. Everything is covered in ice so coming home, I put it in 4 wheel low and CRAWLED. The drive home, which normally take us 20 minutes, took me 45 minutes. It was horrible.

I think hubby is over my moodiness. I got home from work and he asked how my drive was and how bad my foreman pissed me off, the normal stuff.

Ugh, what a long day! Sometimes owning your own business sucks and today was one of those times. I started work at 10am and finished just after 9pm.

I did manage to sneak away long enough to see my doctor though! So she's going to actively try to help us get pregnant! She gave me a prescription for clomid so I'll be starting that next cycle. Shes also sending my for blood tests on cd20 to test progesterone to see if I actually o'd and for one on cd3 to test lh and fsh levels. Shes having DH do a semenalysis and doing a dye test of my uterus And tubes to make sure there's no blockages. It all sounds like so much! I'm hoping that's all we'll need cause from there we do iui, super ovulation then ivf. I don't want to go to those extremes though.

Im really glad that she's willing to do all these tests, the only crappy part is that they have to be done on certain cycle days so it drags this all out until mid-march.

Until then I'm going to keep up with the acupuncture, opks and pre seed and plenty of BD-ing.

Well ladies, I FINALLY got a bfp on my opk today. I was worried because I only had one opk left and still had not gotten a bfp. I will probably go buy some cheap ones at the drugstore just so I can keep testing and making sure that I am as long as I get a bfp and a day or two after. The ice storm in northeast Ohio continues and I am sick of it. I need a vacation badly.

Steph...I think you and I have MUCH to talk about, but not on here. Our situations are so parallel it is almost crazy. I wish there was a way to pm on here.

WELL, I think for the last few months dh and I have been trying WAY to early... I was trying to be such an over achiever...Typical teacher - I try to plan everything out just so... Well that didn't work! I started on day 7 and I didnt ovulate until 14... I think by then DH's sperm must have been... well let's say it couldn't do the job...

This month I am using OPK's... So If I don't get a positive by day 14... I will start BDing that night for three days, take the 4th night off and then BD again on the 5th day for a couple of days... I took this advice from a friend and I am going to give it a go... I think it is important to take a little break in between...

What do you (everyone) think?

I might sound like a total snob, but I really don't want to have a Christmas Baby so I am hoping for this month or next...

Now that I said it out loud,I know I will be having a Christmas Baby...
